I went to the ren faire meeting tonight (anyone in the texarkana/ arkansas area, hit me up)
and I am planning on hitting some fleamarkets saturday. I have two things I already know I want to make, but I am missing the main supply. LOL
I also need to have my casual ren faire clothes ready for may 19th, we gonna have a garage sale fundraiser. LOL

Painting tonight while we watch shows. Supernatural, Fringe, etc. lol Sort of doing things in rounds: do backgrounds, wait for them to dry while working on something I drew out last night, poke at another thing, flick more paint on the backgrounds...

Lots of ideas floating around...

I figure I'll just keep adding things to this in between all my projects, and I should have lots to send when the deadline arrives!

Made a few items today - pretty much doing the same thing as Icekibby. Paint, wait, paint, wait.

And ha - another supernatural fan! Whoo. My significant other and I LOVE that show, although I'm not a fan of the gore sometimes.

I'm slowly getting some ideas - but mostly I'm just going with whatever comes up. You can't rush inspiration, until then you just keep your hands moving.

After reading someone's Q. (don't remember who) I started watching The Secret Circle. Makes me think of Cate Tiernan's book. I like it so far (5 episodes)

I will start on the art tonight. I think that the HUGE Super Flower Moon is inspiring me tonight (and my guy said it was StarCraft night for him so...)

I was just checking in for everyone to be okay, apparently you are, so armed with watercolors and honey cha tea I'll get some art done

Hehehe, that would be mine. I enjoy watching the secret circle, they just can't trust nobody. LOL

Well I'mma sleep outside tonight, I never ever do that. I am sure with the first bug crawling over me I will be in my bed, but I will take my cat, and use the fire burning thing as a make shift altar and do a full moon ritual tonight. Since the moon is out, and I have my 25 yard dress.
But yeah hopefully it will be peaceful and energizing and then tomorrow I can get my crafts started. I have ideas for 3 items now. I just have to force myself to go, 'so you are crafting for a guy, so what, just don't add glitter and it will be fine.' LOL

The word Samhain translates to mean Summers End. For some summer is coming for others it is ending. To them I say Happy Samhain. That is the fun part of having an international Coven.

So a question for you all.

I have always wonder for those of us in the southern hemisphere is it Beltaine or Samhain?

and we are a day in front of you too. so does that mean we get to celebrate twice

Where I am in Canada we just celebrated Beltane, I celebrate Samhain in october
