I wrapped the cording with fabric. And hand sewed it around to size i wanted. The Owl is a pincushion. It's filled with crushed walnut shells.

Lovely basket and the owl is cute: I wouldn't have thought of crushed walnut shells for a pincushion, does it blunt the points at all?
