4 x 6 art swap rd 2! (signups April 20-27,2012; send out May 16, 2012)

my piece is hanging on my kitchen wall, I got so used to seeing it there that I am sad to see it go. My only fear is it will end up in a trash if the person receiving doesnt like it  although I know that another crafster would never throw somebody elses art away it's still something I am dreading   
anyway, it is hard for me sending this cheesy piece of art away because it reminds me of my dad, he used to paint scenes like that when I was kid for us only much nicer than I can do now

I redid the entire piece and it looks much nicer this time around. So just waiting for glue to dry and I will also send tomorrow.

Mine has been packaged for at least a week now so I could not second guess myself and just send what I love   All addressed now and ready to go out tomorrow!!

Mine's packaged up and addressed too. Got errands to run on Monday (well, today, since it's 4AM here right now, oops) and I'm hoping to get to the post office while I'm out.

I did not get the likes or dislikes of my partner but my project is done and will be in the mail tomorrow!!! I suppose if the person does not like what they receive they could gift it to someone else but from what I saw the last round everything was so cool!!!!

I did it a bit differently then AM.  So my group just got adresses

I figured out a way to not want to keep my piece... I used colors I would never, ever decorate with (although I still think they look really neat). I'll have to remember that trick, because even though I'm really happy with what I made, I have no problems sending it off to a new home, because it is such a misfit among everything I own.

It was a very long day for me too... I couldn't figure out for the life of me how you quoted words... Figured it out after though Next time!

I am going to wrap mine up in freezer paper and hope nothing sticks that shouldn't!  It has been so humid here, but it feels pretty dry to me...I figure that whatever partner you have, if they don't want the item, they can always gift it!

Art is very personal and in the eye of the beholder indeed!
