Hello! first of all i would like to say good luck to all the crafsters that are participating in this craft challenge! here is my first entry: a nautical sailor tunic/mini dress. It is made from an old mens shirt and some ribbon for the straps and belt thing. i got too excited and didn't get a chance to take a picture before i cut it up. Here it is:
front close-up
side close-up
my inspiration was from all those t-shirts that have been reconstructed into dresses, purses, etc.

Cute! That would look good over jeans too. Smiley

I'm with themonkey -- that would look totally cute over jeans! (i'm modest, lol - with matching undies, it would look cute on it's own, too. Oooh, or over a bathing suit.... incorporating the marine-ish theme!) It looks great on you - good work!

I'm a sewer, and artist, and generally all-around creative person with more fabric in my stash than I know what to do with!
