Beginners inchies 3 swap gallery

i am now terrified about the quality of the inchies I made...

but these are the ones i made for TheManicCrafter







i went with a world travel...gypsyish theme....i feel like mine are really plain and simple to the ones i've seen here... apologies to both my partners! I didn't realize just how creative you could get with these!

The thing to remember with inchies is that everyone has a different style, which is afterall why we swap in the first place. Also this is a beginners inchies swap, so it's a great place to have a go at making them and gain some experience through seeing and recieveing from others.

Speeking of recieveing, my inchies from Plumcrafty arrived today. My theme was Black and white. Here are the great inchies she came up with:

oh, and I love those b&w inchies by plumcrafty!  I really like the one with the lady's profile silhouette!

I received my inchies from ErintheRed02.  I am so excited.... she had my style nailed.  They are all so bright and colorful.

And she did a great amount of stalking to find my tastes in movies and music.  I love both the "As you wish" Princess Bride inchie and the Pink Floyd one.  And anything rainbow is always loved and appreciated.   

The matroyshka is wonderful, too.  I love all of 'em.  I am kinda curious....  Did you use watercolor pencils are regular watercolors in most of these?  Or am I way off and you used something else completely?

oh my I LOVE those inchies from Erin the red!  I can't wait to see what she made for me!  I got great polymer clay inchies for my blue delft decorated kitchen from Muahhahahaha... I just need to figure out a framing idea for them and put them up!  and post a picture!  I ll modify this later when I get a pic...

I am kinda curious....  Did you use watercolor pencils are regular watercolors in most of these?  Or am I way off and you used something else completely? 

The only one that has regular watercolors is the "As you wish" inchie.  The matroyshka has some regular colored pencil in there at the places I wanted really saturated, the rainbow in the Pink Floyd is normal colored pencils, and the background of the peace sign is actually crayon.  The rest is watercolored pencils, except where it's obviously marker

And Fae, I hope your inchies make them to you soon and didn't get lost in the mail!  I was quite taken with some of the ones I made you and I'd hate for them to be somewhere where nobody can enjoy them

Received these wonderful inchies from Hoppy yesterday:



It's so hard to pick a fav, but I think the Red-bellied Woodpecker might be it.   I absolutely love them all and think the fabric one and the one next to it (which is a little book!) are really cool.  Thanks again Hoppy!
