I figured I was in a ruffle mood with my Can Can costume and decided to post this ruffled masterpiece too.  I'm normally not a fan of pink, but I LOVE this costume and the episode ("Shindig").  This was another one that I had to hand ruffle over a 100 yards of ruffles.  I didn't get a ruffle foot until the last layer (birthday gift from my brother and SIL).  All my notes are in the link of my making of page http://imageevent.com/benaequee/costumes/completed/movietvartcostumes/kayleeshindigdress.

My Dress (I had a fun photoshoot in Central Park!)

My Materials and trims

Because I'm forever 'perfecting' my costumes, I made the skirt MUCH larger last year for Dragon Con.  The bottom hem was expanded by about another 24".

The real dress from the show.

The fuller version of the skirt looks like it came straight from the show. FYI, I hate hand ruffling so congrats on the ruffling foot.
