Not at all my style but it was fun to make! I felt sorta punk meets Redneck woman in this outfit.

Shirt>>>>(sorry the pics are sideways) (those are my bra straps, not part of the shirt)

Started out as plain button up shirt. Some one here did a button up halter awhile back. I combined that with a tut from ohmystars to be my inspiration for this. It was already fitted but I did have to add some more darts around the boobage. Folded plain black satin ribbon over the edge and stitched.
Skirt>>>>

started out as plain denim skirt. Boring. Added lots of detail work.

used buttons, lace, small bolts, ribbon, fabric pens, ect.
boots>>>

I didn't do anything to these but they completed the outfit (even though you can't really see them).

Cost:
Shirt---$0.99
Skirt---$0.99
boots---$1

Thanks for looking!

Punk meets redneck is a good way of putting it. Smiley It's not really my style but I like it, esp all the detail on the skirt!

If you can't convince them, confuse them.

The shirt is really cute - I wish I could wear halters like that! I'm impressed by the skirt -- my freehanded decorating abilities leave something to be desired, so I'm appreciative when people can pull it off successfully:) I like how you kinda matched the plaid on the shirt with the checks pattern on the skirt, and of course, who doesn't like studs? Very cool! I would totally wear this when in a rockabily-ish mood!

And also, so jealous of the deal on the boots.
