This is the absolutely amazing felt flower garland she made. I may have to leave it up year round.

And here is the hair clip, I wore it all day yesterday, the ribbons are longe so it is fluttery and fun

and in action! the pic is at a weird angle I have a lot of hair so i had to stand funny. Smiley

I absolutely love it, thank you Ani for a great swap! thank you hawkeyes_girl for organizing. Smiley

Wow! What a great garland! I never used to pay much attention to felt, and now it's one of my favourite materials. I think it was your felt food, MamanT, that got me interested first!

I didn't care for it either before starting to make play food with it. I think that once you use real wool felt and manipulate it, it all changes the way you see felt!
Ani, is there tutorial you used to make all those beauties? I'm particularly interested in the big lotus Smiley

Sugar you sure have the hair for that pretty hair clip! I'm just growing my hair back, after chopping it off.i chose to lop it all off when my son joined the Marines. I told him, now we both suffer! Lol I said now I won't cut it until he comes home, then I'll maybe get a trim. Lol I have four years to go, he signed a five year contract. The good news is that my hair should be has long as it was when he went in, midway don my back. I've decided I'm not coloring it anymore either, if grey is in there oh frelling well, time to embrace the crone stage. Lol

That is an awesome reason to cut and not cut your hair. Smiley I have never had short hair, every summer I wish I did, but I just can't cut it all off. It sounds cheesey, but it is my only distinguishable feature. I have always been "that girl with the long red hair" and DH says If I cut it I have to leave until it grows back lol
