Pink Feathery Pen - featuring Elmer's products

Plain old boring pens are great, but when you can go fancy, why the heck not?

Making a normal boring pen into a fancy, fluffy one was quick and simple project. I used Elmer's Repositionable Designer Masking Tape, feathers and some bead sprays.

Just start at the top and wrap the tape around your feathers, positioning them so that they fan out a little and are evenly spaced all around the top of the pen. Keep wrapping (there will be several layers of tape for secureness) and add the bead sprays in, too.

Then just keep wrapping all the way to the bottom of the pen.

At the very end, I used a little bit of clear-drying Elmer's Craft Bond Glue Pen to secure a little wire-wrapping at the top for embellishment. This also will keep the feathers in there nice and snug.

And there it is, super fancy and ready to write secret notes!

You could sell these to the banks. Then they would not have to tape those ugly dollar store flowers to their pens. They could then use these pretty and funky pens. Smiley

That's so fun! And much better than the ugly flowers or plastic spoons I have seen businesses use!

I'm so feeling the urge to bedazzle like all my pens now!

You could sell these to the banks. Then they would not have to tape those ugly dollar store flowers to their pens. They could then use these pretty and funky pens. Smiley

I think people might end up stealing them more if they were this cool!  hehe
