My partner from the 80s movie swap just posted what I sent so I thought I'd share the embroidery I made her.

Since we are both fans of Ludo from Labyrinth, I decided to make an embroidered Ludo. I'm still somewhat new with embroidery, so I just did a simple outline using a combination of backstitching and split stitching.

I created a pencil sketch in photoelements using a photograph from the movie. I traced the pencil sketch with a sharpie and put it under the white fabric. This helped get Ludo's body shape. I drew in the face myself and most of the fur by hand. I am really happy with him.
