This a very simple DIY that required items that every crafter should have on hand.

I used:

    -Glue gun and glue
    -Scissors
    -Fabric Scraps
    -Barrettes

I applied a small amount of glue to the barrette and quickly pressed the barrette onto the back of the fabric of choice.  I then cut around the barrette, leaving enough fabric to fold over and glue to the back of the barrette to avoid fraying. For the lace covered barrette, just repeat with a piece of lace after applying the fabric.

I even toyed with the idea of adding a button or some other embellishment but I got lazy.  Perhaps next time!

Cute! Would make a good project for young girls.

I enjoy making my own beads from recycled materials. Also, designing with wire.
