So, not sure if this is considered cooking.  I boiled the water for the jello and mixed up some cream cheese frosting at least, LOL.  I made these with this contest in mind so I'm just going to enter anyway.  Up to judges for the rest I suppose.

I got this idea from http://butteryum.blogspot.co.uk/2011/04/jello-easter-eggs-with-vanilla-cream.html  When I saw it knew it was going to be something I had to make.

Made my eggs and let them set.  Made up the cream cheese frosting then got everything out and ready.

Tasted good!  VERY sweet though with the concentrated jello mix.  Next time I'll probably try knox blox with juice or a sugar free variety.  If I did Knox I can control the coloring too.  I wanted pastel colors for Easter, but it didn't work out that way with the red and greens.

Anyway, it was fun to make!
Thanks for looking.

I have a jello mold that is a hinged 2 piece deal for making jello jiggler eggs.  But using it for halves has never occurred to me....what a fantastic idea!  I love how these "deviled" eggs turned out Smiley

Someone rescently gave me some egg shaped Jello molds. She suggested putting the jello eggs on a shredded bed of lettuce at easter. This will be great for them. I can't wait to make these, even if easter is over. Thank you so much for sharing this.
