I don't think we have ever had anyone do machine embroidery for this swap - it's all from very talented fingers Smiley (not that I have anything against machine embroidery... it certainly is lovely has it's place, but not here)

m
I received this beautiful  moth hoop from dewshinedopp - the fill stitching is fantastic. I really like it - it will make a fantastic addition to my hoopla wall.
Thank you dewshinedopp!

Everything I've seen is awesome.I finally sent mine out after the DISASTER:Fell on it in a rain puddle, breaking it and stained it.Tried to work some magic on the torn fabric.I hope it's ok.Lucky that I had another oval hoop.Fingers crossed

Normally I think moths are disgusting but that one is great - looks like a lot of stitches went into making it.

I got my hoop from Mousee23 late last night.  It is the poor hoop that got squished and rained on.  It looks like it had an adventure.  Ah well, I am sure all storm troopers came home dirty from battle at some point in time or another... Smiley

Here is the front.  I am pretty sure she swiped the "minimalist" Star Wars idea from my pinterest- good stalking!  Smiley

And here is the super cool back

Thank you so much Mousee23!  It will live with pride amongst all of my other SW hoops and be proud that it survived the battle.

BTW, were the eyes patches that you found?  It's a super cool texture and I am wondering how you did it...

It was a heck of a long and heart wrenching journey up North for my Grandpa and then gathering up my Grandma and her belongings and I just finally got home to Florida the night of the 9th.  I just want to say thank you to everyone who was in this swap seeing the various hoops, reading the thread, and making some hoopla goodness helped keep my spirits up and I'm sending each of y'all a big {{{hug}}} for being such wonderful craftsters.  Smiley

I can't wait til there's another swap now that I'm home...of course I need to clean my house first, lol, nothing stayed organized while I was gone and the dog is eying me like he knows it's a couple days past bath day.
