Personally, I've never spent less than 3 hours on a hoop...I've always felt that if the crafter chooses to go over the time limit, that's her choice and she shouldn't necessarily expect that in return. That being said, I don't feel like I could personally craft anything quality in a 2-hour time frame (I'm slow). I think 3 hours is more realistic.

Here is a picture of what I sent to thehappycrochetchic. It is a Gears of War themed hoop. This is the main character, Marcus Fenix. She received a week ago or so, so I am going ahead and posting the photo myself.

The blue delft hoop is AMAZING!!  I can't imagine the amount of work that went into it and how she was able to make it look shaded.  Averia I bow to your stitching ability  Grin

More wonderful works!  Love the shading  Smiley And I could see even my son getting interested in hoopla from that GOW character.

Still had to put the back on my next piece or so I thought, turns out that taking constant care of Grandma and gettign her up and down from the wheelchair to wherever she wants to be and caring for her baby (she calls her stroke arm her baby as a joke since it won't don't anything on it's own... oh she's a riot lemme tell ya and we figure hey at least she's laughing and that's the best medicine especially after losing Grandpa) and packing to get her ready for the drive home made me forget that I needed a hank of the glow in the dark!  The lady at Joanns was like, you'd be surprised how many people came in today for the last color they need for embroidery pieces; I reckon it's getting more and more popular.

Off to the docs now and to grab a mailer...

Cheesy  Grin While I appreciate excited notifications that you received, please please please give Cindy and me a little more info than "I received! I love it!" and please keep in mind that a lot of us anxiously await hearing that our partners received. Even if you don't have time to post pictures right away, at least take a moment to let your partner know you have gotten the hoop into which they put a lot of effort.

Averia, beautiful work! I love the shading on the leaves. Beautiful and impressive!

The Gears of War hoop looks great too. Looks like He-Man armor. Great detail. I like his gear necklace too, nice touch.
