Dearbluebird, your hoop is a great use of space - I love the way he goes right to the edge on the bottom and sides. Nice detail work.

Thank you to everyone for the compliments on my Gears of War hoopla. I really did try hard...I wanted people who know who Marcus is to be able to see it and identify him immediately. I paid careful attention to his face. Thanks again!

Gears of War is a video game series.  Marcus Fenix is the main character.  My DH is ~obsessed~ with it.  My son would be, if I would let dad play when he was awake. Smiley

And I agree- that hoop is AWESOME!  I can't let my DH see it, or I will be begging for one Smiley

Thanks guys. I love the gears series too. My husband and I have played all three together. I love Dom but felt like Marcus was the best choice for a hoop.

LOL!  I tried- and botched- 3 different styles of the COG logo for the last hoopla swap.  Wound up making a Cheshire Cat as my time wore down.  I even wrote a "stitch and botch" about the dumb COG.  It was, and is, the bane of my existence.  All 3 (hideous) versions are sitting in my craft room, waiting for me to get the nerve to try again. Thanks for posting the pic maniac crafter... I was literally just trying to figure out how to upload the one pic I have of it from my phone to my work computer.
Its a pattern from Urban Threads.  When I read the description of like 5.5 by 5.5, I didn't really picture it that big til I printed it and started working on it.
Hope you like it.
