My Mother started a tradition when we were kids to make a bunny cake for Easter.  And on Easter Monday I sat down with my children and my nephews (all 6 of them under 7) and shared in the tradition my Mother started.  This is not the cake they made. LOL  It was request that I make another by my son, who I think thought I was going to let him get in on the decorating.  Not this time! lol I was in need of some personal cake decorating time.  Here's my Version of the bunny cake Smiley

Face on:

And for reference, the cake my children and nephews decorated.  It's uniquely awesome!  Mutant bunny cake, if you will Smiley

The details of how it gets it's shape:  Bake any cake batter in a round cake pan.  Let cool completely.  Remove from the pan and slice that cake in half.  Fold the two halves up on each other and place them cut side down. Decorate! easy peasy Smiley

Hope you enjoy!
