Not all who wander are lost

I am a little uncomfortable making quilts for others.  A part of me is afraid they won't like what I make.  But I love making quilts, and I only have so much room in my house.  This year I am stepping out of my comfort zones, and I am endeavoring to make quilts for my siblings.  First up is a wandering star for my oldest sister.  Her couch is kinda teal, and I don't have a lot of teal, so I rounded up what teal I had, and I added everything I could find that worked together.  So here it goes:

My husband has given it a thumbs up, so I hope she'll like it, too.

It turned out beautifully! I'm sure anyone would be pleased to receive one of your lovely quilts! I think it will look great on her couch too.

I can't imagine anyone not being thoroughly delighted to receive a quilt from you!  You have a wonderful eye for color and design, and goddess-level sewing skills.  I'm up for adoption if any of your siblings wants to squander the good fortune of having you for a relative....

Why, thank you!!!  I just find it hard to figure out other peoples tastes - everyone has a different way of looking at the world, and I am no mind reader.

. . . and Takoburrito, good eye on the blueberry fabric(s).  I picked them up while in Maine as a souvenir, as Maine is famous for its blueberries.
