Ooh dear, now I've confuddled myself...

Do you mean, it's a medium sized swap where you craft 3 points based on items being: small=1 point, medium=2 points, large=3 points?

The way I read it is that it's a moderately sized swap, not a super quicky or a massive undertaking  I could be wrong though

Ok, I'll try to explain a little better, but please bear in mind I'm confused enough as it is.

This the sentence that confuses me: "This going to be a medium (3 point) swap – so you can do either 1 medium item or 3 small items, although if both partners agree you can go larger, but NOT smaller."

This is a medium size swap and we need to create for that 3 points worth of crafts.
I work out my commitment in hours of work, so as far as I'm concerned I could work for 3x 2 or less hours (3 small items), or I could work for between 2 & 3 hours (1 medium item).

Or I've got it wrong and I should be working for over three hours (1 large item), or I should work for between 2 & 3 hours (1 medium item) AND 2 or less hours (1 small item) or as aforesaid I could work for 3x 2 or less hours (3 small items).

I hope I've clearly identified where my confusion lies now.
