This is a super cool sampler quilt--cool fabric, cool colors, and cool blocks!  I love how you were able to frame out the scenes of the fabric in the big blocks and then used pieces of each scene to make some of the other blocks...really showcases the fabrics!

You really have a lot of basic traditional blocks but you made them so modern and fun!

Wonderful job, Maremare...I bet your swap partner was so thrilled!  I have no idea how you could give it up...such an inspiring piece and one of my favorite quilts you have done!

Fantastic job! I like the intricacy of the piecing and the way you used the large scenes. Way to go!

Thanks, everyone!

That is an adorable quilt!! My lovely sister sent me the Merlin's Dragons fabric collection and I have been wondering what to do with it. You've inspired me!

Ooh I'm not familiar with that but will have to look it up! There are so many fun fabrics that work for this pattern!

Holy COW so awesome!!1

My favorite colors are in order, black and pink. All shades of pink. I love them all! You did a great job pulling so many shades of pink together. I would not have had the nerve before, but I may attempt it now.

Great squares, it is nice to see the actual squares because sometimes they are difficult for me to 'see' when it is all pieced together.

You should give it a go! All you need are some good tools--my best tool is the 1/4 inch foot I attach to my sewing machine for perfectly sized seams!

Thanks, I like being able to see them close-up too! I'm doing another one soon with a tute!
