I wasn't sure where this belonged, but I can consider this a trinket- right? Plus, it holds jewelry. I apologize if I put this in the wrong category!

Anywho- I fell in love with the Anthropologie ring dishes for $10 (which is actually affordable for Anthro!) But of course I wanted to make my own! See the real anthro dish here:

I found the plates and the little birds at the thrift store. With some high gloss white spray paint and glue, I made my own version!

I'm a lover of vintage finds, the thrill of a thrift store hunt, frugal decorating and creative crafts. My quiet home in the mountains provides the perfect setting for uninterrupted inspiration!

Thus is such a neat idea. I just bought something similar in brass at a discount store for 9 bucks. It looks like a fun way to make something custom for a gift though.

Good job, I think yours are very pretty, and a great use of thrift store finds.

Thanks! I lucked out finding the little birds. I was originally looking for small children's plastic toys for the center animal, but these ceramic birds turned out great!
