Here are the things I sent to Alex. Her camera is broken so I'm posting the pictures for her.

Alex has a black and white cocker spaniel (and here I thought they were only blonde in color) named Oreo. She's also a teacher and wanted something for her desk. So I got an Oreo mug, filled it with peppermint candies, and put her dog "Oreo" on top. Then I made her a couple of magnets with Oreo's picture on them. She likes purses and handbags too, so I took an existing black handbag and made it reversible with dog-themed fabric on the inside. Now she can use it either way. I filled this with doggie treats. The blue dog fabric with the blue ribbon folds open and has two pockets that can be used to hold documents or coupons or bills or whatnot.

Thanks!
Chris

Great package chrmisha! I love the upcycled bag-- clever AND cute! The Oreo on top of the Oreo mug, is that needle felted? A purchased present? That whole piece is so fun. What an Oreo filled package!

Yes indeed, that is a great package chrmisha! I love that you made actual representations of her dog with the magnets and mug.  Nice bag and wallet, too!

chrmisha, that is an great package!

I'd like to know more about that dog on top of the mug too? Did you make it yourself? And what is it made of??

Using a bag and turning it into a reversible one is very clever! And cute too! That wallet is also very nice!
(I really need to learn some new English words for nice and cute,...I feel like I'm a robot)

How on earth did I miss the chat about starting a stuffies swap AND a sew something summery swap?Huh? I read about it when I hit reply!!! PFEW, I wouldn't want to miss a Leslie/Susan swap! It depends on the time frame, but if possible I can already tell you that I'll be participating!!! Woohooo!!!

Hi,

The dog is made out of plaster probably, and I bought it online for this swap. It looked so good when it arrived, I didn't even have to repaint it!

Here are the beautiful pieces I got from my lovely partner Legatostroke. She is so unbelievably talented - I had stalked before she sent and knew she was good but I still did not expect this. She has captured my pets so beautifully and I think my mum got almost teary when she saw the one of our cat that recently passed away. Anyway, without further ado here they are:-

This is Blade (the one who passed away)

Buddy - our golden retriever

Buddy, Blade and our other cat Bella

And finally a German Shepherd keyring because I love GSDs with a passion.

Thank you so much Legatostroke

Wow! legatostroke, you have some awesome sketching/painting skills!! Beautiful! I especially like Blade's portrait, so detailed... I am amazed at such skills! Like a photograph!
You should definitely frame those, Mod35tBabe!

I'm still waiting (not so patiently any more) for fiddlegirl8 to receive  Sad! It really should be any day now! I sent on Friday 27th of April, so that is 2 weeks now, COME ON! In the meantime fiddle is trying to relax me and she is being very patient. I think this is the downside of sending internationally!
