That's a wonderful stamp! You'll get lots of use out of it. If you use different colored inks, it could also be a lemon, or an orange.  Smiley

Thanks for all the nice comments! I do have an orange ink pad so I could stamp a citrus salad Smiley.

It looks great! I know when I first started it was wayyy too easy to slice up a design because your carving tool can move too quick through the lino. Definitely go slow and take your time. Great job!

Yes! I definitely took my time with this. I hacked up previous attempts in a matter of seconds because the blade really does move so quickly and easily through the rubber stuff.

For me it's all about the tools I use, I have a set of these that I've heavily modified for my purposes but out of the box they should be very helpful.

Harbor Freight carries the cheapest set I've found you can take a look here.

That block is good but I prefer the SpeedyCarve. Its the only pink kind as far as I know. It's a little more rubbery so its still super easy to carve but takes slightly more more effort to carve through because the rubber is so resistant which means less mistakes. Still go slow! Also I've gotten the white kind of lino from speedball that has just crumbled at the slightest touch - I'm not sure if it was old or what but I'm a bit wary of the white/grayish kinds.

Thanks Lime, And SheepBlue! I will try it out.  I'd love to have a stamp with my info on it.  Or just my little logo that I've had in my head for years and years.

Lime, I love it!  I, too, would be stamping everything in sight with such a cool name-inspired stamp!!

I'm excited to try another easy design.

How about a little acorn with a letter "J" worked into the design??  Grin
