Harry Potter is so cute!

And the pop art has great colors!

I love the LORAX - soooo cute! Noooitaremybirthday is my partner too! She does great stuff!  Wait until I post the badge she sent me!

I received my totally awesome Stitch badge from Noooitaremybirthday yesterday! She is a fellow Stitch fan - so she knew exactly what I would like!  I can't believe that it's got needle-felting and embroidery - I can't needle felt and I am in awe of anyone that can!

Here he is!

Thank you Noooitaremybirthday!  I love my Stitch!  Your badge will be in the mail tomorrow!

Thank you guys for all the compliments on the badges I made for OGD and Bobomom Smiley
Oh man, all of these are so awesome. Nooo, did you embroider the edge of the Lorax or is that part felt too? It really makes him stand out!
What I did was needle-felted all the different cut felt pieces together first, then embroidered outlines and details that needed it. Then I needle felted another piece onto the back to hide the stitching, then cut it all out and blanket stitched the edges. The Stitch badge was my first needle felting ever... and it was way fun. Here's a pic of the lorax after needle felting, before embroidering/cutting out:

The needlefelting reallllllly helps keep everything in place while embroidering. Now that I've done it, I can't imagine not doing it before stitching felt!

ISO an old Tamagotchi, Digipet or similar so I can make a fake set of keys to trick my toddler during church.

Looking for a vintage magazine (1974 - 1978) that has a fabric nativity set w/ people and animals. An example: http://www.craftster.org/pictures/showphoto.php?photo=440861&ppuser=143144.

Needle-felting to hold pieces together is brilliant, Nooo. Now it seems obvious - it IS called "felt" after all - but I would never have thought of it!

Love the VW bus a lot!
