Looking for a vintage magazine (1974 - 1978) that has a fabric nativity set w/ people and animals. An example: http://www.craftster.org/pictures/showphoto.php?photo=440861&ppuser=143144.

Checking in on this gallery is almost as good as participating in this swap.  Every new badge is wonderful.

Woo hoo!  I received from both my partners and finally had a sunny day, some free time, and something to take pictures with. Unfortunately I cannot find my good camera so have only my cell phone - partners, if you have better photos, PLEASE post them - because I love these and want to show them off!!!

So first from LoudXmouse I received a charming little umbrella badge!  I love umbrellas (parasols, parapluie, bumbershoots, brollies, whatever you call 'em!) and rain and rain drops (which is a good thing considering I live in the Pacific Northwest, eh?!) and Loud got it perfect! Unfortunately the cell phone won't focus on your badge, Loud! Argh!  I think she needlefelted part of it?

She added pretty little blue crystal beads as the raindrops - I love it! And the umbrella is nice and cheerful colored, which always makes me smile on a gray rainy winter day - seeing someone walking by with something colorful, instead of the usual plain black umbrella.

I had to put it away in a drawer as Phoebe Cat *LOVES* those little beads - I caught her chewing on them! EEK!  So your badge is going to either be a fridge magnet or a brooch, somewhere where she cannot chomp on it!  It would go great pinned to my long black winter coat ... I think that's the ticket! I love having little bright spots of color on me in the winter and it will be quite apt!

And then today I received from megancrafts. M and I decied to do a little personal swap on the side and do extra badges. Smiley  I got a cute little trio of badges from her and I love 'em!  Here they are with Altoid tin for size:

A cute teacup, a wee little itty bitty umbrella, and a little wide-eyed gray kitty, just like Phoebe Cat!

Phoebe approves, by the way. She wouldn't stop stealing the kitty badge and rolling on it.

They are adorable! I'm going to make the umbrella into a magnet for sure, and I think the teacup will go on a teawallet I'm making for work. The gray kitty will probably go to work with me to keep me cheerful!!

THANK YOU BOTH!  I love them all!  I'm so happy with the badges I got!!!

I received my badge from MareMare, isn't it sweet?  She made me a weeping willow tree.  I love how she did the leaves, so clever.  Thank you so much, MareMare!

So much awesome!! I love the umbrella badge that the Seattle gals swapped Smiley. The willow tree is really neat too. What a fun design. And the polar bear!! Love that and love the colors. So sweet. Oh and the lock and key has so many beautiful details. Gorgeous! Another really great use of beads on the heart badge too.

Mare--love how you made the willow tree leaves!

lankikins--what a super take on surreal's pup!  ha ha I love that you used three eyes and made him into an octopus!  Very clever and perfect for surreal!

the badges are flying in here, so I hope everyone knows I love them all even if I can't comment on all of them...I just see them and have to hold my mouth shut...they are so clever and nicely done!

The heart and key has so much detail...I loved that one a lot...

The umbrellas as cute and the polar bear with the blinged up dipper! wow

The clay flowers are an added bonus to the heart badge!

The viewmaster is also so clever...it brings back so many childhood memories!

The two star wars badges are really tiny and detailed...and the little sewing badge...a badge I know is well deserved!  So well done!
