Kitten Wrangler, I totally understand about stamp-carving.... I go through spells where I make a bunch of them, and my husband ends up finding them around the house....

Also, just because I can't resist, another teaser shot:

It's the halfway mark! Well, somewhere between yesterday and today was the halfway mark. Still... exciting!

Isnt it crazy how fast this month is going by?

I think it's quite fun. Each day is special now that you have to memorialize it for another person to read ^^ I think that makes it go by much quicker.  Smiley

I had this a week ago, luckily caught up! Hang in there, lots of hugs being sent your way! Maybe the journalling can help?

Finally found what I was looking for - for the cover. And lots of other goodies at SCRAP - I took a mixed media sculpture class today. Fun, fun, fun. The bonus, of course, is that I got to "shop" through all the scraps - fabric, paper, glass, metal and wood. And much, much more. So I'll spend tonight catching up on journalling and tomorrow making a few more pages. All of this while counting the days to vacation - umm, exactly 4.

(In case anyone is interested: www.scrap-sf.org, look at the calendar for the class I took today.)

PLEASE ask me for some fabric - I have way too much. It's yours, free, for the cost of postage.
Truly, I have soooooo much.

Journalling is good. Why don't I do this all the time???

I also love carving stuff into stamps. Carving erasers into stamps (see KW, I've learned not to call them rubbers so people don't snigger at me!) is so satisfying. I also love carving rubber but that is a bit crumbly for my liking. I've decided to use soft carve lino and glue it to wood for the msot part although it lacks the instant satisfaction since I have to wait for it to dry.

I'm back from an awesome, exhausting weekend that I can't wait to catch up on journaling about! (Main event: friend's bachelorette party!)
