you gals are so smart w/ the teaser pics!
how in the world do you do that?

I used Photoshop for my teaser picture. It has an option to "filter" the pictures you have uploaded and there is a variety of ways to disguise photos. I can spend 30 minutes just going through all of my options.

I also found this site http://www.scrapee.net/en. It has a "Free Online Photo Editor", so if you don't have Photoshop you could use that. Just upload a group shot of your crafts and then edit away until your picture is disguised to your liking!

(ALSO, I'm running down to my apt. office now...according to the tracking my package has been delivered!!!)

You guys... Susie Apple is freaking incredible. Just LOOK at this package!!!
(Warning: photo-heavy since we exchanged 9 letters.)

She spelled ALEXANDRA:

A is for Alphabet-patterned-fabric-covered corkboard (with ladybug pins)

(You can see the little banner of cards explaining the letters above it.)

L is for Language-loving pug greeting cards

E is for Extras: soda-flavored gummies, a lovely resin pendant (her first time using resin!) with an ampersand in it, and the cutest little tree stamp, PLUS coloring pages (!!!) of Mondriaan (my favorite!) and Soldati!

X is for X-ray art bookmark (which incorporates my love of typography as well)

A also is for Ampersand name thing... her FIRST time working with polymer clay! Incredible!

N is for Neil Gaiman quote wall hanging (only her second time doing wood burning!)

D is for "Don't Panic" felt badge (the first she's made... she was so adventurous, and all of it turned out great!)

R is for Resin mockingjay trinket!

A is also for ATCs!

They were in the leaf tin, which is the EXACT SAME ONE I put one of her items in!!! We were clearly meant to be partners if we think that much alike.

Everything is ASTOUNDING, Susie Apple! I love this package so so much!
(Also, these soda gummies are DELICIOUS and actually do taste like soda... I've been eating them waiting for photos to load.  Grin )

Love, love, love the latest pkgs!!

In the pkg legatostroke made, I love all of the
sewn goodies --
esp. the cute tote bag and stadium blanket~

and in Susie_Apple's pkg, I am crazy about
the greeting cards (I love languages, too!)
the x-ray art
the Don't Panic badge

I was feeling pretty good about my package. I tried out a bunch of new crafts and thought that for my attempts I was pretty happy with the turn outs. Until I received my package from Alexampersandra! Her package tipped the scale and it was truly an awesome-ness overload.

She spelled my first name and then my middle and two last initials (I have a hyphenated last name). That's a total of NINE letters! Alynna J L-H:

First, the packaging was adorable. Mustardy yellow is my favorite color and every letter had a drawstring bag custom made with the best fabric.

A is for Animal Art! Each animal is one I had mentioned liking. These "name cards" are really pushing me to buy a shelf for above my crafting area.

L is for Laziness Justification! I've been a very lazy and messy person my entire life...so this is just perfect. My bf is the same and immediately gave it home decor approval.

Y is for Yellow Mug and things to make in it! I'm a coffee and tea drinker extraordinaire, so I've found myself collecting cups and mugs. She included many teas and baggies to make microwavable cake with! I eagerly tried the strawberry, which was delicious. A truly unique idea.

N is for Nature Inspired Earrings! Alexampersandra even threw in some earrings I had on my pinterest. Clock hand earrings! Look and there's that leaf tin we both unknowingly swapped to each other. haha

N is for Narwhal Stickers! Narwhals are the coolest. I cannot believe she gave me 12 different size and color options. (I'm not complaining  Wink ). I'm going to get a UV protection paint and see if I can make a bumper sticker out of one of these Narwhals.

A is for Altered Puzzle! Great art/crafting skills. This is very my style. And look at the little birdie charm <3

J is for Jar of Whimsies! Nope, still not done. The jar was jam packed with wonderful little bits and pieces. Even the tin was full. This was my first jar of whimsies ever received. I was very excited.

L is for Leaves Gift Set! Some people swap and receive only this. I feel really lucky to have been spoiled with a heaping gift set. Not only did I get gift bags, cards in envelopes, stickers, and tags, I also got ribbon! Owl ribbon! Craftster has definitely made my owl obsession a bit serious.

H is for Hoop! Speaking of my owl obsession. Check out this mega cute mini hoop. So simple. I love it.

Yes, those are ALL NINE of the letters, but Alexampersandra still topped it all off with candy. Not just a little, but a mound that made me feel like I just went trick-or-treating. Each candy was for a different letter. The second "N" stands for Nintendo candy. Clever.

ALEXAMPERSANDRA, THANKS FOR SUCH AN AMAZING PACKAGE!!!

WHAT AN *amazing* pkg!!!
That is what I love about this swap -- the creativity and generosity
just blow me away!!

First off, the bags are such a great idea!!
Micro cake -- another great idea!
Love the earrings & leaf tin (need to go edit my other post -- I thought
it was an ATC at first   Roll Eyes
I have never really been a fan of altered puzzles, but this one is fantastic!!
and the stash of candy -- YUM    Grin
I'll stop here, even though I could really comment on each & every item!!
WOW and double WOW

you both did a great job on your partner's pkg!!!!

I TOLD YOU HE WAS GOING ON MY CAR. He's UV and water resistant (apparently). Huzzah!  Tongue
My car is yellow, so the purple narwhal is quite gnarly.
