For me, one of the scariest parts of "The Shining" was when Danny was peddling around on his Big Wheel in that deserted hotel - the sound of his peddling, the low perspective, it builds up the suspense like WHOA - so I thought it might be cool to do a little piece with that terrible carpeting

These are AMAZING!! 
And i agree, Danny on his big wheel in that big deserted hotel were the spookiest moments in the film.
