I know that alwaysinmyroom has been super busy of late so I'm going to post pictures of the goodies that I sent to her. Smiley

First, her wash cloths...

And some scrubbies made from the scrubby SnC

I was able to get a tawaishi and a circular cloth with one ball of the SnC scrubby with just a smidge left over. The green circular didn't make it into this picture for some reason.

And as an added treat, a jar of my Mulled Cider jelly. Smiley

Love the edging on the first washcloth! And the pattern on the third one looks really neat, too. And, mulled cider jelly sounds delicious.

I could eat an entire jar of that jelly in one sitting if I'd allow myself. Wink

Oh, and I remember reading a request somewhere for that first pattern. Here's the link.

wow, those are all nice patterns! And jelly to top it off - yummy! Do you know the name of the pattern for the third one, the darker blue/purply one? It's lovely!

I really like that pattern as well. Smiley

It's called textured stripes dishcloth.

No wonder I loved that third one! I made the Textured Stripes cloth early on in my 50+ CAL bid. I just checked my list, and it was the 17th one I made (and I marked it as worth doing again someday).

cADDc, you're so good about keeping track and being organized about it. I'm in awe! I'm going to try that one, its very pretty! In fact, I may frog the one i'm working on for my friend and make that one instead!

Thanks for the name TroubleT!

I kept track because I wanted to make 50 different ones and I was afraid that I'd just make the same ones over and over. Keeping the list kept me honest and forced me to try out patterns I might have skipped because they looked too hard. My crochet skills have vastly improved, thanks to dishcloths (although, every once in a while, one of them comes out a little wonky Smiley ).

That makes a lot of sense, I wish I would have done that! Maybe I can partially recreate my list by going through the CAL thread.

Hit the "Show Images Only" tab, and then work backwards from the last page. I didn't start right at the beginning of the CAL, so if I need to find something, it's easier for me to work from the most recent to the oldest. And, I think you started after I did, so it'll work even better for you!
