Homemade soap that is made well lasts a very very long time!  I was lucky to get quite a few bars from Maremare and have been including them in swap packages...this swap was perfect to giving out a bar of her Garden Oatmeal soap....it scrubs away stuff and smells so good!

I went to the Post Office today to mail my package to Sharalee, and her package was there waiting for me. She had them all fancily wrapped, unfortunately I didn't get a photo of them in all their beauty - I was too impatient and had to open them right then and there. And as usual, I have to apologize for my photography skills:

The one on the left, if you look closely, is knitted and the two stripes in the middle - blue and brown - are made in plastic, so I have a built in scrubby. This will come in handy as I don't have a dishwasher at my current place.

The cream colored in the middle is a crocheted potholder. I needed one SO bad. My potholders disappeared so I've been using towels. This one is nice and thick, so will work much better than what I've been using!!

The one on the right is a nice knitted cloth, in a really pretty teal color. It looks like the same pattern as the cloth on the left, but without the plastic.

I love all the variety - something to use in cooking, something for cleaning up the kitchen and one for use in the bathroom! Thanks so much Sharalee, for being an awesome partner! She also gave me a sachet, which didn't make it into the photo.

I have to warn you, my package to you isn't nearly so fancy and nicely decorated! And I forgot to take photos before I sent - DOH

Nice set of knitted items! That washcloth looks like the same pattern that I used for the only knitted cloth I ever made... except mine was full of holes...

And, I didn't wrap mine up nice and pretty, either, and I couldn't find my camera to take pictures, so I used my scanner. Hopefully, my partner is able to take better pictures! But, they're on the way, and should get there on Monday or Tuesday.

So glad you liked them!! Wink  I wasn't to sure about the scrubbie one. I read where you can use plastic bags in your regular knitting for a scrubing, so since I had some all ready cut up & in a ball I decided to try it. It's a little hard to tell the truth! I have made the plastic bags & it wasn't hard to knit & I guess the 2 of the yarns together was what made it so hard. But I like the look & it should help scrubbing those pots & pans.
Don't worry about not taking photos! I had some just in case.
Thanks for being my partner, It was fun making these cloths for you!! Have a great Day!! Can't wait to see my package!!

How clever to put in a built in scrubby section!

I love diagonal knit cloths...but I do not enjoy knitting them since I still need practice being even!

I received my package from TroubleT and will post pics tonight...already used my cloths, which I really needed!

I received from"playswithneedles" Oh they are so Awesome...... I love them it's so nice to have a couple crocheted cloths instead of the ones I usualy make.
I'd love to have the patterns to each of them. The ocean colored one is very pretty & the stich is beautiful!! Cheesy  The creamed colored cloth is pretty too!! They look pretty easy to make.  Also thanks for leaving the tail on the scrubbie & it's neat, I'm not sure if I'll use it for a scrubbie or a soap saver. Thanks for the extra skein.
I love it all!
Thanks for being my partner!!! It was a lot of fun!!!

Up closer & see the beautiful stiches.

Scrubbie or a soap saver!! Very cool!

Thanks again, Love making yours It was a lot of fun!!

Very lovely stitching!  That is what I love about this swap and the craftalong...you get to see so many new and fresh cloth patterns!

I love how the cream colored one is a mix of patterns!  It sure makes washing dishes and wiping counters a little bit more fun! Cheesy

I love the striped one! Is that self-striping yarn (which I love to use for dishcloths)? And, the pattern is nice and neat looking, too!

The dishcloths I mailed may arrive by tomorrow...
