I was more than happy to turn an old pair of brown jeans into something useful.  Truth be told these weren't even my pants, they were my exes, left behind with plenty of chances to pick them up Smiley  Here they are in the dresser... the before shot!

And here's what I made from them.  A wrist cuff for myself and two coffee cup cuffs for friends.
I cut the fabric and ran it through the wash first to fray the edges, I wanted a roughed up look.
I took an old favourite earring of a star (since I don't wear earrings any more was happy to recycle this) and added it to my cuff.  Cut a stencil and used silver fabric paint; the rocket is like a personal symbol for me.  And stamped with an R for rocket and Robin (that's me).

On the coffee cup cuffs I stamped 'zombie vaccine' which I saw someone else use on a very different kind of coffee cup cuff.  Cut a zombie stamp and added that in red.  I don't drink coffee but these are for two friends who say they love them.

I love the deconstructed look. And I didn't know that coffee was a zombie vaccine  Grin. Learn something new everyday!

These turned out great! I love how your cuff is so personalized to you and the zombie vaccine coffee cuffs are awesome! I would totally use them for my coffee!

These are cute, and a great use of the ex's stuff. LOL, I got mine to pick up the rest of his clothes today, but will have fun refurbishing the rest of the stuff he left.
