Hi everybody!
I'm super duper excited as I'm finally able to convert the one part of my apartment into a small sewing spot. I just need a little help in making sure that it's minimal and that I have all the essential items and where I might be able to get these things for a little cheaper since I'm still just starting out and am on a slight budget.
Included are pictures of my very small space and maybe this will help you help me.
I appreciate and will consider any and all suggestions.
I start shopping tomorrow!  Cheesy

The width of the wall is: 2ft 11in/ 88.9cm

Thanks to anybody and everybody for some advice.

Hmmm, definitely a little table and some shelving.  What sorts of things are you looking to put here?  Fabric, thread, a sewing machine, other notions?

A table with a drop leaf might be best, so you could put up the leaf for cutting fabric and such.

Hmm, just noticed that there doesn't seem to be an outlet - is there one nearby if you plan to use it for a machine?

Because the wall is barely three feet wide, I would suggest a small table as well. What about an old school sewing table? The reason I suggest that is I see them EVERYWHERE at thrift shops for about 20 bucks or less.

Another idea is to go to Lowes or Home Depot and buy those veneered shelves and brackets. You can screw the brackets into the wall and put the shelving up so you have a place to store your items. At desk height, put up a shelf and bracket to act as your desk.

I have my "craft room" in the landing in front of two bedrooms on the third floor of our house.  What I found to be REALLY useful was to take one of those cabinets that you buy at Walmart or Home Depot that have two long rectangle doors that open out with several shelves inside...it's a tall rectangular shape.  I turned it on its side, with the doors against the wall, and used it for storage that way.  It fit the space I had better, fit my needs for storage better, and the best was that the long "top" of it was able to be used as well!  (I use that part to stack books and display swap items.)  Good luck!

Something like this would work.  it would work just about anywhere by the looks of things.

Buy some spool holders you can screw them on to the wall. and a small table and chair can be a good start.
