After doing my first 2 blackwork projects I decided I wanted to try something all red.  I came up with this basic heart pattern and just repeated it over and over until my 4" hoop was filled.

But, as the title says, all is not as it may seem.  Turn out the lights and this is what you get

I recently discovered glow-in-the-dark thread and incorporated it into this hoop (was it ever hard getting this picture.)  If you look closely at the first picture you can see some white thread between the hearts and harder to see is where I put it just inside 9 of the hearts.

I know I'll be using this glow-in-the-dark thread in future projects just to add some fun  Grin

Thanks everyone!  I wasn't sure if I really liked how this hoop turned out but your positive comments are making me like it more.

OK I was really liking the redwork version and then when I saw the glow in the dark version I LOVED it!  Great idea and really well done!
