So here are my very first hoopla attempts!  This is a very late post as I made these for partners several rounds ago.  I'm very new to embroidery in general so I was pretty pleased with how these turned out.

Sea turtle using felt and some pleats for water waves.

Water droplet using felt.  Has a somewhat abstract feel I think.

If you'd like to swap for some good clean fun, pm me!  I make cold processed goats milk soap and shampoo bars.

What a cute turtle. Using the ruffles on the fabric as a wave was very clever and I like the little bubbles. Are those beads? Very neat.

The early bird may get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese. . . . I would rather have cheese.

He's so cute! I really like how you made the waves and the back is awesome, a piece all on it's own.
