That's marvellous! I love the stitch on the platform the squirrel is on - very interesting.

I picked up my own copy of Mary Thomas's book for £5 (about $8) in a second hand bookshop on Saturday. It's an 1940s edition and has got the good luck card in the back which it was originally presented with!

Thanks ScrappySue and PurpleHeather!

That good luck card sounds funny PurpleHeather! What a great find at a second hand bookshop. I just got the newer addition  on Amazon about a year ago, no good luck card... I wonder what edition the editors assumed new stitchers no longer needed luck  Grin! Have fun with the book!

The squirrel is cute but I am in love with that little hedgehog. What a little cutie! Great job!

I've always admired samplers but this one totally blows me away!!! It's part traditional, part unique and I love it so much!! The squirrel's tale is freaking amazing...all the critters are so great!  Your partner is so lucky!
