Firefly in a jar sketchbook

I made this Firefly themed sketchbook for my partner in the Whedonverse round 8 swap. It is my second time making a book but the first one was made using coptic stitching and bound in a hard cover. I wanted to make one that would show off some of the stitching so I made this one using a longstitch bookbinding technique from this tutorial. It is 4x6 and has 6 signatures. I embroidered an image  inspired by one on her pinterest and machine stitched it to the cover then added cardstock for the liner to give the cover more stength. Thanks for looking!
