I'm pretty sure this is where this should go, but if not please move it where it needs to be Smiley I've seen quite a few of these awesome grocery bag dresses so when my school said they were looking to do an exhibit on recycled fashion I jumped on the chance to try it for myself.

The top is 8 layers of bags fused together then cut into the scallop shape, after that I pinned them onto my dress form to get the right shape then zig zagged stitched them together. The waistband is fused too and the skirt is all strips of the bags. The starburst wrapper chain is something I did in high school, it's at least 15 feet long!

If you have any questions about the process I'd be happy to answer! Now onto more pictures!!!! Smiley

That's awesome. One question though... is it wearable?

It could be wearable if I put a closure in the back. I ran out of time though and didn't get to. It also needs leggings or something on the bottom cause it's kinda sheer. But if not for that, it's definitely wearable Smiley
