Looks like I get to post first this month!

Mountains and Clouds claimed me for my trees theme!  Yay!  And she sent me a couple extras, as well!

The first is a gear tree!  Here gears are so cool!  The other two are done in oil pastels, the first of the two being a reflection of a tree in water.  Very cool idea!  I would have never thought to do a reflection of a tree!

Thanks Mountains and Clouds! They are beautiful!

Haha. I love the gears. Is it sad the first thing I did was follow the paths to make sure it was not an overconstrained system. And it's not! Assuming there is clearance in some of the tight spots. But it could actually be built. Art project! And great ATC M and C!

I received a FABULOUS card from Sunny Dawn yesterday:

She was concerned that she may not have pulled off what I was looking for, but she hit the nail RIGHT on the HEAD!  I love it- it's perfect!  Thank you, Sunny Dawn!

Hehe!  I didn't even check to see if it would work.... perhaps my family of engineers have somehow seeped into my subconscious.....  That being said, now that I look at it, I think there is one spot where it might not work, depending on where the gears are situated 3-dimensionally..... but I won't point it out Tongue

And Gozer, I am trying to claim less this month so that my cards can be more meaningful, as I was starting to get swamped last month, and ended up just making them to meet the deadline!  ...must take time to refill the creativity pot...... Smiley
