I made this using my own design.  It is a negative space embroidery made out of french knots entirely...  I am super happy with how it turned out!

Whoa! My fingers hurt just thinking about all this work! It was worth it though, the texture and blending of colors is so neat. It looks like a painting!

Thank you all for the compliments!  It took about two weeks to complete, but that's working around 5 kids and 2 dogs, and an almost full time job!  So if I could have dedicated more time but ...

That's incredible!  It's been a while since I stitched, but French knots always made me see red.  I can't even imagine how on earth you had the patience for this!

It really does look amazing, though.  Great job, and kudos for the patience!
