Well, in a day and a half I'll be off the the World Sport Kite Championships in Berck-sur-mer in France. And this is another in the long series of posts about my preparation. Because we're competing as a team, we all wear team uniform, which will undoubtedly be all washed together in the same washing machine in our rented apartment. So to identify whose thermals, shirts, jackets e.t.c. are whose, we have to label it all. Most stuff has been fine: a white washing instruction label and a clothes marker does the trick nicely.  BUT (you could tell there was a but coming couldn't you) It really doesn't work on a black label. So I embroidered them; what else?

I have been following all of the things you have been doing for your team! They are just so lucky to have you!  Some of your projects are fairly simple but you solved problems in such a nice crafty way!!

Good luck to you guys!  Showing off all of the AIRHEADS stuff will be epic!

Thank you sooo much. I'm really hoping the next project I post will be the link to the video of our performance. I'm finally getting over the panic, panic, nerves and beginning to relax into it.

Just to let you all know, my team, the Airheads, came 10th in the World Sport Kite Championships, a respectable position given that we've only been competing for a year. I'm very pleased.

P.S. I've updated with this message on all the project boards I've posted about it on.
