I've been going to a glass fusing evening(well, technically it's morning but 'adult ed')class for 18 months now. I feel like the dunce of my class but console myself that this is partly due to not being able to afford proper materials. I do what I can with bits of old greenhouse and the classes limited frit and powder colours. Hopefully my Dad may fix me up an old kiln now he's retired and I can experiment on a larger scale.

This A4 sized piece is layered in some places and not others. It is fused but has paint effects on the back (mislabelled frit turned out to be horrid colour) and some black outliner. Also gold outliner to make the 'strings'. My boyfriend is a big Picasso fan and I wanted to do something with cubism(or trianglism?) and violins in mind.

Sorry, I couldn't get the photos to work so I've posted them onto my blog.
