I love customizing vinyl toys. Here is my latest creation inspired by my beloved cat Lucy. The customization is done on a Hello Kitty Series 3 toy I purchased from Urban Outfitters that I removed the paint from. I used acrylic paint.

This is what the original looked like out of the box. I removed the paint with acetone, sanded with 400 grit sand paper, and then primed it with krylon spraypaint in a flat white.


I would love to hear anyones thoughts and suggestions, or of any techniques used to strip off existing paint.  Smiley
