I made these shorts today. They only took a couple of hours to sew and I am quite happy with they fancy yet girly look. All I need now is a pair of saddle shoes.

Ok those are super adorable and I would be proud to wear them! (including the fact I love neon, live in FL and super hot, and my fav color is blue!)

Hey, just saw your comments (for some reason the "notify" function didn't properly notify me of you kind words:).

The elastic is a bit over 1 inch wide, but I think you can use wider elastic if you have it around the house.

I was afraid the floral trims will make it look a bit pajamy Smiley but I think they work of for summer :>
