so are we allowed to use whiskers as well? i have a whole jar of them from various cats. maybe i could crochet them into something?

Well whiskers are just a special type of hair so I say yes! They'd be great to use as a frame since they're so sturdy!

What a great Khallange! Would it be okay is I use Kaleb McFluffypant's fur? He's a recent konvert to kat-dom and I think it would be unfair to discriminate against him just because he's not a genetic kat.

Oh good! I'm thinking about making a throne. Maybe I'll felt the fur for the upholstery and use some more for the stuffing. And some reclaimed barn wood for the frame, in homage to our farm dwelling feline friends. I think that will be just lovely.

Does the alpaca think he's a cat?

Does it have to be hair from a domestic cat, or will tiger or lion hair do?

Wow, I didn't think to cover that requirement!  It does not need to be a domestic cat.  Just be sure to include a current photo of the cat(s).

Cinnamon Teal: what a cute trans-cat!

I've been wanting to spin my cat's hair into something for years, but hers is so fine... I can't "brush" her. And sadly I cleaned my floors yesterday so there's none lying around. *Sigh*
