Anyone know who will organize this? or a time frame? I'd love to get started Smiley

It's been about a year since the last time I went geocaching.  I'm hoping to log a bunch of caches this summer though!  Depending on the time frame/requirements of this swap, I'm interested in joining. Smiley

This would be a fun swap for the summer! I'll be watching to see if this gets started.

We did some geocaching last week while camping. It really made me with that I had made some home made goodies to put in the caches. Also, the insect repellant that I made came in handy while caching. That could be something that I could make for this swap too Cheesy

I guess this one never did get organized? I don't think I'd be up for organizing again right now, but would definitely want to participate!

Fall/Winter-ish time might be better in general for people since summer activities wind down and caches are harder to get to for some of us. I could be wrong though.

Anyone attending the International Earthcache Mega Event on Sept 2nd?

I've never heard of the International Earthcache Mega Event?! I've been having the urge to geocache but it's not something I like doing alone and so I am waiting for my sister to come back into town so that I can force her to do it with me.

Event is GC33E6X. It is in New Gloucester, ME (Which is a little over an hour from my home). I am volunteering at the event in the Kids Activities for 2 hours, so if anyone will be there look out for me!

That sounds fun, but it's no where near me. I have never been to an event at all. I always seem to miss the ones near me Sad I haven't organized before, and I have too much going on right now or I would do it. I did see some kind of little key chains in the last caches we found that looked like they were homemade. I thought they were really neat.
