I did a personal swap with my friend mcook72667 and she said she liked matryoshkas. I found a really cool paper piecing pattern on etsy and made that panel a while ago. I framed it in solid brown and then waited for a long time, without any inspiration or ideas on how to finish it. I finally found some matryoshka fabric in two different colorways, and decided to fussy cut some of the dolls out in various sizes. Of course, at that point I didn't have any of the solid brown I'd framed the main piece in before, so I ripped it off and re-did it with my favorite brown pindot.

I finished the back with the red colorway of the matryoshka fabric and some hanging corners.

This is the etsy link for anyone interested in the pattern~
