For the HP craftalong http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=408525.0 we have many different assignments.  For the Astronomy class we have to craft something with the sun moon or stars in it.  I decided to continue to work on my embroidery/felt applique. I decided to pull from the chapter art of the lightning stuck tower from chap 27 of the half-blood prince.  I used a blue fabric and added water colors to the fabric to give it a night sky look.  I also painted some green behind the dark mark and then stitched over top of it so it would glow a bit.  I like it and am happy to add it to my wall of hoops.

C&C welcome

Looking for a vintage magazine (1974 - 1978) that has a fabric nativity set w/ people and animals. An example: http://www.craftster.org/pictures/showphoto.php?photo=440861&ppuser=143144.
