I made this cowl with one skein of Wool-Ease Thick & Quick yarn in Denim Twist.  I knitted it on size U.S. 13 circular needles.
This is the pattern:
C.O. 80 sts
Rib knit the first five rows.  Knit 4, Purl 4 to the end of each row.
Just knit for the next 4 inches.
Knit the last five rows the same as the first five and bind off.
