Flea Market Watercolor - Update: Won an Award!

My latest painting (my fifth one now).....this time a watercolor using several photos from a visit to the Rose Bowl Flea Market in Pasadena, CA.

The final size is 14 1/4" x 27 3/4" on 400lb Arches Cold Press.  I'm still trying to determine how many hours these watercolors take me (the last one took me 120 hours and was less complex) and so I set a timer for every one of my work sessions.  83.5 hours spent on this over a span of only two weeks!  I'm getting faster!  This was accomplished while teaching a full course load just to prove to my students....IT CAN BE DONE!

ETA - I received word on Monday that this painting won an award in a regional show last weekend.  I sure wish I could have been there for the opening, but the weather was AWFUL!

Oh WOW! I can't believe you got that much detail with watercolor!! Amazingly well done! I do not have the patience to even try to be that good lol!
