i made this for my sister in law's mother. i think its maybe more of a pencil bag, who knows? i used a stencil of a bird... not sure what type maybe a wren?

Ooh I love the wee wren. It's an unusual purse and I love the way it's come out. I'm sure the recipient will love it and if she doesn't, she really doesn't deserve it! send it to me instead!

That is great!  Love the wren - did you applique on all the pieces?  However you did it, it looks fantastic.  Great work!
