Congrats, LL!  I feel your pain.  We, too, are packing up our stuff and moving in the next month, but just 8 miles down the road!  I am not very good at pitching things so I keep reminding myself that someone else would really enjoy having X so it's selfish of me to keep it in a box or whatnot! 


We just got home from the DC area (I waved, atsuko and pw, as we drove by your towns!) where we visited with our daughter and son-in-law.  It was GREAT fun, but I am glad to be out of the car!!!  Interesting to note that it takes just as long to drive from the Ohio- Michigan border to the Upper Peninsula as it does to drive from the border to D.C.

Whaat!  I wish I had known you were coming thru A2K!  You should have waited a month and then come to the Sheep and Wool Fest with us.

I just gandered through the shops!  And there are some things in here that I look at and go "OOH!  I want that!"  So...  in the midst of working on a wedding afghan I'm going to get some goodies made up so that I can possibly Shop the Swap in May or June!

Hi everyone! Making headway (sort of) on the giant amount of packing and sorting to be done here. While taking a coffee break just now I checked to see which of the 5 post offices in Champaign would be the closest and found one that is seven minutes away from our new house on foot according to Google maps. That will be reallyhandy for the swap!

Would anyone be interested in woven beaded bracelets? I need to make new things for my shop!

Finished Jo's bracelet just now!




It is brown leather cord and silver chain braided with the embroidery floss.  A single pearl hangs near the clasp.

Hope to do the stamping this weekend!

it is only 6 minutes from the apartment we are in now and optimally located between Nollie's and Mr Mouse's work!
Our realtor is still looking into it and I am itchin to get movin!

We've had one claim this month....so hopefully this weekend there will be some posting in the shops and shopping!  There are a number of people with points over 3 - 13 to be exact, please be aware that the more everyone sits on their points the more this swap stalls.  Lets get spending!
